How to Draw Star Wars Characters Workshop, with JAKe.

Friday 11th November @ City Library 1.30pm – 2.30pm

Thought Bubble International Sequential Art Festival and Bradford Libraries are offering a school workshop for pupils from Y4, Y5 or Y6, with international Star Wars artist JAKe. We have places for two classes from two schools. Or you can bring a smaller group with children from each year - Y4, Y5 or Y6 if this is easier to organise for travel etc.

About the Star Wars Art Workshop and JAKe …

Official Lucasfilm illustrator JAKe Detonator will show Star Wars fans how to draw their favourite characters from the Star Wars universe, including Droids; Wookies and Bounty Hunters.

His books include How to Speak Wookiee; How to Speak Droid with R2 D2 and his latest book How to Speak Astromech with BB-8.

If you are interested in booking the workshop please email: christinea.donnelly@bradford.gov.uk Development Officer for Children and Young People. Please provide school name; year group; contact name and email and state if you are prepared to share the workshop with another school. The children’s library is a large space - each group will be arranged at either side and a risk assessment will be available.
