Behaviour and Attendance Collaboratives

Bradford secondary schools have worked within a Behaviour and Attendance Collaborative (BACs) since September 2007 which was the start of a new approach in dealing with behaviour and attendance across secondary schools.  Our secondary schools formed three BACs who work within their individual BAC and across BAC where needed to take greater responsibility for all pupils in a collaborative’ s schools, particularly those with behaviour and attendance difficulties.

 

Schools are grouped via their locality and individual schools are within the following BAC areas:

The BACs; Three Valleys, Central and South Bradford, work to support each other with strategies and advice in support of pupils who have behaviours that challenge. They support with managed moves and commissioning of alternative provision to support meet pupils' needs.
