Local Area SEND Strategic Partnership Board and Workstreams

Local Area SEND Strategic Partnership Board and Workstreams

The purpose of the Local Area SEND Strategic Partnership Board (LASSPB) is to act as the Strategic Governance Body to oversee the delivery of SEND reforms across the Local Area, helping to improve the partnership’s SEND arrangements, allowing children and young people with SEND to have positive experiences and achieve their outcomes and aspirations.

The Membership of the Board is reflective of the Local Area and includes representation from key stakeholders, including:

  • Local Authority
  • Bradford Children and Families Trust
  • West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board
  • Health providers
  • Voluntary and Community Sector
  • Parent and Carers
  • Schools
  • Further Education
  • Early Years
  • Alternative Provision

The Board receives progress reports from operational workstreams, tasked with delivering key elements of the SEND Reforms and in turn will report progress and risks to the Children, Young People and Families Executive.
