School Clothing Allowance

The Council no longer provides financial assistance to families with meeting the cost of school uniforms.

 ALL maintained schools and academies now have their policies incorporating Financial assistance for uniform costs.

Parents should contact their own school if they have any queries about School Clothing Allowance.

The Council’s Revenues, Benefits and Payroll Department is no longer able to give advice to schools and academies on eligibility. Revs and Bens provide FSM eligibility data for maintained schools (and academies that purchases services – please note that FSM data cannot be provided to academies that have opted out of the Council’s FSM administration services). For further information contact the Education Benefits team 01274 434477
