School Standards and Performance - Who we are

The School Standards and Performance Team is a part of the Department of Children's Services and comes under the remit of the Deputy Director for Children's Services in the Education and Learning Team.

The Team comprises the School Improvement Education Advisors; an Early Years Officer; the Virtual School; the Music and Arts Service; the Commercial Services, including the School Governors' Service, the Faith Team and the Play Team; the Appropriate Body Service for ECT Induction; the Education Partnerships.

The Education Advisor (EA) team has many years’ experience in school improvement and support. Each officer has a background in education management and leadership and has undertaken Ofsted training and preparation for inspection.

There are currently three full time and two part-time EAs in the team.
