Be Bright Be Seen 2023

Time: - | Venue:

It is that time of year when children will soon be making journeys to school and back in the dark, especially when the clocks go back on Sunday 29th October.

When the evenings are darker, visibility is greatly reduced for everyone which makes pedestrians and cyclists even more vulnerable than usual.

‘Be Bright Be Seen’ is a crucial message for children and parents. Please find attached an assembly plan with accompanying slides, a PowerPoint presentation and colouring sheets (links below) to help promote the message in your school. If you would like to run a 'Be Bright Be Seen' competition, we have a limited number of prizes (reflector key rings, stickers, pencils etc.) that we can send to you on a first come, first served basis.

Fluorescent / reflective sticker postcards are also available for pupils. If you would like to order these or request prizes, please contact the Road Safety Team on 01274 437409 or email roadsafety@bradford.gov.uk (please let us know how many stickers you would like).
