The event will take place on Saturday 3rd June 2023 from 11:30am to 1.30pm at the University of Bradford.
The ceremony is to celebrate the educational achievements of Bradford’s Children in care and nominations are invited for awards to be presented to children and young people on the basis of academic achievement in school based on the following: -
• Actual examination/test results
• Improvement in attainment based on targets or previous learning
• Progress
• Effort
• Attitude to learning
Please note this is not for general school attendance. Schools have their own systems in place for recognizing good attendance.
Can you please ensure that you also consider children and young people who achieved well in Year 6, Year 11 and Year 13 in the school year 2021/22, as we want to ensure that their successes are also rewarded, as well as those who have achieved well since
September 2022.
All nominations will be considered and successful nominees will be invited individually to attend the ceremony. To nominate a child or young person, please complete the nomination form (see link below).
The deadline for nominations is Friday 28th April 2023.
