This July 3rd and 4th, Born in Bradford (BiB) will be hosting a two day festival celebrating 16 years of cutting edge science, community empowerment and changing practice.
BiB Fest 2023 will bring together a diverse range of teachers, young people, researchers, and community stakeholders to showcase BiB’s work so far, discuss current challenges, and outline next steps.
Day 1 is our young people’s day, and we have been working hard with our groups of young people to ensure they are given a platform to express what’s most important to them, and share their thoughts on how we can all work together to support health and
wellbeing across the district. Whilst keeping science at its core, we will also embrace a festival atmosphere, hosting a variety of different workshops, performances, art pieces, and interactive installations (including selfie booths, VR headsets, live podcasts)
throughout the day.
*For each school we are currently able to accept groups of up to 20; this needs to include both young people and adults.
