Join us this free event for school leadership and governors, exploring the impact of trauma & an opportunity to learn from practice examples

Hi everyone!

We are really excited to announce this two part conference, with the first one for school leadership and governors. Would you like to learn about the different Trauma-Informed services on offer to schools across the Bradford District and to explore possible collaboration opportunities to help support your journey of having a whole school trauma-informed approach? If yes, please join us with this free virtual event, celebrating and learning from different practice examples from across the Bradford District.

Event Aims: Trauma-Informed Bradford Schools Event will deepen understanding of:

  1. The different service offers around adversity, trauma & resilience for school age children
  2. What plans are in place for different funding streams relating to this area
  3. Any work in progress around toolkits/training

The sessions will hear from a range of service providers that offer trauma-informed practices in Bradford, supporting, pupils, staff and leadership. We are also thrilled to invite our keynote speaker Lisa Cherry back to Bradford with over 30 years experience Lisa Cherry is, an author, researcher and leading international trainer and consultant, specialising in assisting schools, services and systems to create change that supports working with the legacy of trauma.
