BiB Age of Wonder: Mental Health and Wellbeing Webinar, Thursday 19th January, 4pm-5pm. ONLINE.

Over the course of the next 6 years, Born in Bradford Age of Wonder will be working with secondary schools across the city to understand what it’s like being a young person growing up in Bradford. In addition to basic health measures such as height and blood pressure, we’ll be delivering surveys that have been co-produced with students, teachers, and academics, that aim to highlight the most pertinent issues adolescents face today.

At the end of academic year 2021-22, more than 1000 students from 4 schools piloted our Mental Health and Wellbeing survey. Senior leadership from all of Bradford’s secondary schools are invited to this session to hear our preliminary findings. Not only will this provide valuable insight into the problems our young people are currently facing, but also an opportunity for your school to be included in teacher lead discussions around how together we can work to overcome them. Finally, mental health practitioners and experts will be on hand to showcase some of the innovative work they’ll be conducting across Bradford’s schools, answer any questions you may have, and tell you everything you need to know to get involved. We look forward to seeing you there.
