University of Bradford Mock Trial Competition 2022-23
We are pleased to announce that the University of Bradford Mock Trial Competition is now open for entrants. The competition is open to school or college students studying at AS and A-level. Each school or college may enter only 1 team, although you can change
your team-members if your team progresses through the competition.
The programme is tailored to be accessible to a wide audience with no requirement of prior study of Law as a subject. Tutorial sessions will be provided to cover the legal issues at play in the scenario that will be provided. Our academics will run online sessions
discussing the relevant criminal law aspects of the case, as well as a session on Courtroom advocacy and etiquette.
The first round of the competition will be held online. For those teams which progress through to the later rounds these will be held in-person in our Lady Hale Courtroom at the University of Bradford.
