Tim Bleazard, Curriculum Innovation, is delivering this 1 day face to face course at The Innovation Centre Bradford. Attendees will be provided with a thorough understanding of progression in Computer Science through both the Curriculum Innovation and the NCCE schemes.

Description

Attendees will build their understanding of algorithm, sequence, programming, inputs, outputs, repetition, selection, and variables. Crumble and Micro:Bits will also be used to provide a chance to experience physical computing.

Outcomes

  • Become confident teachers of Computer Science
  • Have an in-depth understanding of progression in primary Computer Science
  • Become familiar with the Computational thinking that underpins Computer Science from early years to Y6

Training is delivered at the Innovation Centre and the cost of this 1 day training course is £175 (£150 for subscribing schools) which includes a light lunch and refreshments. All rooms at The Innovation Centre Bradford are located on the 3rd floor of the Digital Exchange.
