Tim Bleazard, Curriculum Innovation, is delivering this face to face course at The Innovation Centre Bradford to provide attendees with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively assess Computing work created using the Curriculum Innovation Computing scheme of work.

Description

Attendees will have the opportunity to assess pupil work and to see how work can be included in assessment portfolios. We will explore different ways to track and record pupil progress and how to use remote learning platforms and other methods to capture the wide variety of digital artifacts produced in the Computing curriculum.

Outcomes

  • To experience a range of formative and summative strategies for assessing Computing
  • Be able to accurately assess primary Computing
  • For teachers to understand the options for tracking progress in Computing and decide what works best for their school

Booking Information

All training is delivered at the Innovation Centre and the cost of this 1 day training course is £175 (£150 for subscribing schools) which includes a light lunch and refreshments. All rooms at The Innovation Centre Bradford are located on the 3rd floor of the Digital Exchange. Access to the centre is either via stairs or a lift.
