Nominations are now open for one of the biggest events in the Bradford sporting calendar - the Active Bradford Sports Awards. The awards, now in their 7th year, celebrate the sporting achievements of athletes, of all ages and levels, coaches, administrators and volunteers from across the District.

The prestigious awards dinner will take place on Thursday 9th March at The Life Centre Events, Bradford.

A total of 19 awards are to be presented within four main categories - Senior Achievers, Young Achievers, Active Achievers and Outstanding Contribution. The major award on the evening, the Special Recognition Award, is presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to sport across the district for a significant period.
