Free Carbon Monoxide Workshops for Primary Schools in Bradford district
Our FREE carbon monoxide workshops are available for primary schools in the Bradford district. Our mission is to educate children on the dangers of carbon monoxide and how to keep them and their families safe.
It's completely free, fully funded by NGN, The Gas Network
with no hidden charges or cost. The scheme has been delivered to schools for the past six years and we are delighted to extend the offer to your area.
We have a limited number of sessions available. To ensure these workshops remain cost effective and reach as many schools as possible we would look to book both a morning and afternoon session on the same day at your school. Where this is not possible, we
will discuss this further with you. Multiple days can be booked for schools with more than a one form entry.
These sessions are extremely popular and will be booked on a first come first served basis. A selection of dates will be discussed with each interested school. Our workshops are delivered by fully trained and DBS checked arts facilitators.
Safety Seymour - Yr 2 and Yr 3 - Class Workshop
Join Safety Seymour, the caped crusader on a mission to raise awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide. Our experienced Arts Facilitator (DBS checked) will lead your pupils through a half-day session (AM or PM) involving fun and engaging drama-based activities,
with links to different areas of the curriculum such as drama, PSHE & STEM. Your pupils will receive an information booklet, activity letter and certificate to take home.
The CO Crew - Yr 5 and Yr 6 - Class Workshop
Mimi and Loz are members of The CO Crew. Our experienced Arts Facilitator (DBS checked) will lead your pupils in a fully interactive and creative half day session, learning about carbon monoxide and how to stay safe. This workshop will help to reinforce
and expand the learning that your pupils may have received with Safety Seymour but can also be a stand-alone session. Your pupils will receive a CO Crew information leaflet to take home.
