Galaxkey have offered to deliver interactive pupil sessions to educational establishments who can benefit from their Education CSR program. The sessions can be delivered online or in person, depending on local demand, and generally take 2 hours, including 15 min Q&A with teachers and students.

Technology has become integral to the education system today - as a channel of sharing knowledge as well as a necessary life skill for children. Today’s young people are growing up surrounded by gadgets and everything online - and possibly know much more than adults.

Unfortunately, the IT and cyber space comes with its’ own threats - cyber bullying, cyber stalking and many more sinister ones. And children are more vulnerable to the risks associated. Hence, it is important that they are armed with the knowledge and tools to safeguard themselves; this will ensure they make the most of the information available on the internet without falling prey to the risks.

Galaxkey strongly advocate safe cyber experience for children and actively contribute towards this goal. One key prong of their Education CSR program is cyber awareness which involves the delivery of a 2 hour interactive session with key objectives as:

  • Inform children on cyber threats they face - cyber bullying, cyber stalking, gaming threats
  • Educate them on the techniques to protect themselves
  • For older children, present various career options that are available in the cyber domain
  • Provide an opportunity to interact with our experienced industry experts to discuss any aspect of cyber security
