Join us at Bradford Libraries for an audience with Martin Impey, illustrator of Where the Poppies Now Grow for a schools art workshop for Y4; Y5 or Y6, as part of the Reading Pictures Seeing Stories Festival. There are 2 FREE workshops - at City Library and Manningham Library.

Award winning and twice nominated for the Kate Greenaway medal, illustrator and author, Martin Impey, will be sharing some of the stories behind his illustrations – inspiring children with his passion for drawing and how it has shaped his life over a prolific 31 years of creating children’ books. Watch him draw as he chats.

Books include Where the Poppies Now Grow and Where Once We Stood

Bradford Libraries has two sessions for schools suitable for one class from Y4, Y5, or Y6. Closing date for booking is Monday 21st March.
