This is a two day face to face course designed for existing and new Computing subject leaders delivered by Tim Bleazard.

Day 1 - 5 Nov 21

We will cover the role of the subject leader and its many requirements including assessing your current situation, action plan and Computing policy writing, curriculum coverage, mapping progression, evidencing work digitally, assessment, timetabling, recommended hardware and software use and configuration, and preparation for an Ofsted deep dive in Computing. This course will use the materials from the Curriculum Innovation team as well as the best free resources from other sources.

There will be two half terms between the two sessions which will give leaders the chance to reflect and implement changes whilst ongoing support will be available from the course leader.

All training is delivered at the Innovation Centre and the cost of this 2 day training course is £250 (£180 for subscribing schools). Delegates are asked to provide their own lunch; tea, coffee and water will be provided.
