On Friday 5 July, 10:00 - 14:15, join Bradford Literature Festival at St George's Hall for Stand Up and Be Counted: How to Change the World, an interactive event tailored to the Key Stage 3 & 4 national curriculum covering history, citizenship, english and PSHE. Each Education Programme event offers students the chance to engage with amazing, life-changing topics, ideas and literature.

Become a changemaker and unleash the power of your voice as you learn from motivational speakers and activists how you can make a difference in your school, community and beyond. 

Delve into the history of activism, with inspiring stories of individuals who have shaped societies through their unwavering commitment to social justice. Learn how books like George Orwell’s 1984 serve as a powerful tool for activism. From public speaking to storytelling, learn to effectively communicate your ideas and inspire action.

BLF's Education Programme is free to all non-fee-paying schools, education groups and home educators throughout Yorkshire. BLF also welcomes fee-paying schools to enjoy this fantastic opportunity at a set ticket price per student.
