Clean Air Schools Programme

Improving air quality around schools is a must for children, parents and staff especially at the beginning and end of the school day. Under the Clean Air Schools Programme, individual schools can apply for grants to implement the most effective solutions to reduce emissions and air pollution.

Grants

The £500,000 fund is offering grants of £250 to £10,000 per school to improve air quality.

To be eligible for the fund you must be a Bradford District school offering primary or secondary education.

The process is in 2 stages: 

Stage 1 - closed

Qualifying schools have now been invited to make their full applications for the CASP grant. We are not taking any further applications at this stage.

 

Stage 2 - A Detailed Application

You will be invited to submit a detailed application if the grants panel are satisfied with your expression of interest. This will be carried out on YorTender our procurement portal, help is available with the application if you need it.

Full applications for the Clean Air Schools Programme has now closed.. Please note, if you submit your application after this date, it will not be considered.

Council Wardens

The council will increase the number of wardens who will work in partnership with schools, increasing engagement activity and educating drivers who are idling in the roads around school sites.
