PROGRESS REVIEWS and ASSESSMENT FORMS

Exemplar forms have been created on ECT Manager so that schools understand the required detail from tutors and ECTs when the time comes to submit the forms.

EARLY CAREER FRAMEWORK MATERIALS

To support ECTs who are undertaking a one year induction and are not signed on with a national provider, the materials have been made available for schools to use to support the ECT's development.

These are for one year ECTs or those doing a Core-Induction programme - NOT for those doing a full induction programme

Early Career Framework core materials

APPROPRIATE BODY SELECTION 2022-23

All schools are required to select an Appropriate Body (AB) to oversee the induction of their ECTs.

This contract must be renewed by all schools each year as part of our QA process.

Schools wishing to use CBMDC as the Appropriate Body now register this intent, along with their option of Early Career Framework route and provider as necessary.

Charges for the Appropriate Body function for 2022-23 have now been released. Schools can refer to the document below for more details.

Schools should note that if fidelity checks are required for Early Career Framework plans, these will be charged separately as described in the document.

Purchase orders

Purchase order numbers are now required on the registration forms on ECT Manager, however schools must be careful to use only one PO number for ECT induction in the academic year, regardless of how many ECTs there are in school during that time.

The purchase order will be used for each term's invoicing.

Schools are advised to let their business manager or office know of these arrangements in advance.

Separate Purchase Order numbers will be requested following fidelity checks.

PART TIME NQTs - ECT Manager will automatically calculate when ECTs' forms are due if they are on a part-time contract. Please refer to the ECT's Overview page on ECT Manager to see these dates.
