Here's some information to share with parents and family and friends about activities and events across the district to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The Bradford district is pulling out all the stops to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with lots of great free activities and events across the district for people of all ages.

 

Bradford Great Jubilee Tea - City Park 2 June 6.30pm to 9.45pm

A family friendly event with a community street party vibe. Cake, food from around the world, singing, a brass band and entertainment all leading up to the lighting of the official Platinum Jubilee Beacon.

 

Family fun events in parks across the district 2-5 June 11am-3pm

Activities and events in libraries

Almost 30 events are taking place in libraries across the district including cake and tea parties, story-time, book and film clubs.

  • Cartwright Hall – the Coronation's key moment TV history
  • Bolling Hall - royal connections with popular nursery rhymes
  • Cliffe Castle and Bradford Industrial Museum – memories and memorabilia
