£1.2m was allocated to schools and you will have received your funding. This
must be used to provide food for vulnerable children and their families and may include support for essential items for example blankets; period products etc. Schools will identify the children and families in their community that need support and can decide
how this is done for example vouchers; direct payment; food parcels etc.
Please note that this funding is not specifically for FSM children. It is any child and family in need of food support
DWP require us to provide data on how the funding has been allocated. A Google forms document has been issued to you so that your email details can be provided. The first digital survey link will be emailed to you for completion by the 7th January.
The money must be spent by the 31st March 2022.
