West Yorkshire Police have created a PSHE scheme of work for primary, secondary and post 16 settings.

The Pol-Ed programme has been developed and piloted during the last 18 months and is now being made available to schools across West Yorkshire.  It includes over 130 lessons spanning all year groups, some of which are designed for SEND provisions.
The Pol-Ed package provides schemes of work, lessons and supporting materials specifically linked to the PSHE Association's programme of study.
These lessons will support teachers in delivering information on the law, crime prevention and safeguarding whilst also building an understanding
of resilience, peer to peer support and how to get help if needed. Pol-Ed will also provide opportunities to link in with local policing teams to build trust and reassure students, schools and the wider community.

Schools are invited to register their interest in attending either or both launch events, which will be held on Microsoft Teams, by emailing
