The Summer Reading Challenge is a national initiative, delivered by libraries with The Reading Agency, to encourage 4 to 11 year olds to continue to read throughout the summer holidays.
Children will be given a Space Chase folder with stickers to collect, along with bookmarks; Space Chase
Snakes & Ladders paper game; Space Chase Window Clinger; Space Chase Wristband and on completion i.e. having read 6 books, a Space Chase Certifcate and Medal. It's all free and children only need a library card to register.
Bradford Libraries are having lots of activities for all children (and parents too!) to support Space Chase, details of which will be on our web pages soon.
