Additional criteria
Children who currently attend Dixons Music Primary in Year 6, will have priority for places at the Academy after the admission of siblings. See note e) on the proposed policy.
Amendment of existing criteria
We will also move the ruling regarding Twins or Triplets, which is already within the Policy, to within the oversubscription criteria so that this is compliant with the School
Admissions Code. This ruling has also been revised to extend it to include brothers and sisters born within the same admission year, alongside those from twin and triplet births.
We are also making an amendment to the wording of the exceptional social or medical need criteria, which is already within the Policy, so that this is in line with the wording
used by Bradford local authority.
Consultation period and comments
The consultation lasts until Friday 12th January 2018 and we invite comments both from existing parents and other interested
parties.
