A major education conference ' Putting Children at the Centre' held in Bradford recently which focused on serving the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disability (SEND) has been hailed as a big success.

More than 600 representatives from schools across the district attended the event, which was organised by Bradford Council.

The 'Bradford SEND Conference 2017 - Putting Children at the Centre' also allowed the council to set out its vision for the district where Bradford moves towards a sector-led self-improving model of SEND provision where best practice is shared between schools.
