During the autumn term 2016 we are running three workshops on how schools and settings can better engage with the Central and Eastern European community. The workshops will include:
- A cultural perspective: Information about cultural attitudes to education in Central and Eastern Europe, based on a recent trip to Ostrava and the personal experiences of the workshop leaders.
- Inclusive provision: Welcoming children and increasing attendance.
- Working with parents: How to engage with families both in provision and also during home visits.
- Partner organisations: Where you can find support, including links with children’s centres.

Saturday 10th December 9.00 am – 11.00 am
Cost: The course is free.
