PE Specialism course for Teachers and Support Staff – starts 14 June

Bradford College is working with the Association for Physical Education and Sports Leaders UK to deliver the Level 5 Certificate in Primary School Physical Education Specialism.

This recognised qualification aims to upskill primary school teachers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants to improve the overall delivery of the physical education curriculum within primary schools. 

The Level 5 Certificate consists of 5 units of work, taught over 6 sessions.  Following successful completion of the Level  5 Certificate, delegates with QTS will have the option to complete the Level 6 Award in Primary School Leadership.

The next start date will be Tuesday 14 June, 12.30 – 4.00 pm.  The cost of the course is £800, including a £175 fee for registration with the Association for Physical Education.  Primary schools can make effective use of their Physical Education and School Sport Premium to fund this.  Delegates must have experience of teaching PE in a primary school.
