We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 23 August. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
The Health Promotion Library at Lynfield Mount Hospital, in partnership with Bradford MDC (Public Health), is supporting Sugar Smart 2016.
The library has campaign display packs of posters and other resources to raise awareness of this national initiative (developed by Change4Life and Public Health England).
Order your free pack by calling the library on 01274 223900 or email us on library.lynfield@bdct.nhs.uk . Campaign packs can be collected from the library or delivered to NHS sites.
Change4Life have also created a Sugar Smart app that can downloaded to your smartphone or tablet. With the app you can scan the barcodes on food packaging to reveal the number of sugar cubes in different foods.
