Refugee Week Art Exhibition, 20-25 June 2016: initial call for exhibits

Bradford City of Sanctuary's third annual Refugee Week Art Exhibition will run from 20-25 June 2016. The theme for 2016 is Welcome, which is also the theme for Refugee Week overall.

We hope you will be able to join us by submitting some art work. The exhibition is open to all schools in the Bradford area.

This will again be an all-age, mixed media exhibition, in a city centre venue. We welcome individual and collaborative work.  As well as Bradford schools, contributors will include asylum seeker / refugee groups and professional artists.  For information about the last exhibition please see our web site http://bradford.cityofsanctuary.org/sanctuary-in-schools

The last two exhibitions have included some imaginative, powerful and beautiful work. Let's see if we can do even better in 2016.

If you – or your school - would like to exhibit, please get in touch with Mary Blacka on 07415 307389 or email us at school@bradford.cityofsanctuary.org.   Exhibit registration forms will be sent out early in the new year.

If you have any questions, please ask.
