All Bradford Schools to receive FREE annual membership to the National Literacy Trusts’ Network resource.
As part of the National Literacy Trust hub in Bradford your school is entitled to a complimentary membership to the
National Literacy Trust Network. The membership usually costs around £100 and 2015/16 will be the last year in which the Esmée Fairburn Foundation is covering this cost for Bradford schools as part of
Bradford’s partnership as a hub.
The Network brings schools together to help them share their knowledge and experience in improving children's literacy skills by providing practical support for the classroom and library, exciting CPD opportunities and a forum to learn from other professionals
in the Network. Your membership provides up to five members of staff at your school with a whole host of benefits, including whole-school literacy evaluation tools, research and policy updates, resources, blogs and discounts. You will also have access to our
annual Literacy Guide for schools, which will support you to interpret the ongoing policy changes and important research in key areas of literacy and which contains advice on how this translates into the classroom and wider school.

Our Network theme for the summer term is "supporting struggling readers and writers". If you haven't had chance already don't forget to check out our primary and
secondary theme pages. Both take a look at the history of interventions, provide you with an overview of resources, policies and research and showcase what schools and organisations
are doing to support their pupils who need it most
