Domestic Abuse - (Recognising and Responding)

Someone walks into your organisation and tells you they are experiencing DOMESTIC ABUSE . . . . . . . . . . . What do you do next ?

To increase your awareness of the complex issues involved in Domestic Abuse and the effects upon adults who experience it. 
 
Have a greater awareness and empathy of the diversity and effects of Domestic Abuse. 
Be able to recognise the stages of grooming and control mechanisms that are utilized by abusers. 
Have a broader awareness of the issues that prevent abused people from leaving abusers.
 
We have places available on the dates below:
Thursday 23rd April (Airedale Hospital) - 9.30am - 4.30pm
Wednesday 29th April (Airedale Hospital) - 9.30am - 4.30pm
