Fully funded pre-visit to Outdoor Education Centres in the Yorkshire Dales

If you are planning for, or considering how a residential visit could support children's learning, we can offer a free of charge minibus visit to Ingleborough Hall or Buckden House.

Generous investment by the Schools Forum has transformed the accommodation, dining and teaching facilities at these two centres.

Have you got staff who are not sure about taking care of children in the great outdoors? Or parents who are reluctant to allow their children to be so far from home? Invite them to join you on a half-day visit during the school day.

We will arrange for a minibus to collect a combination of staff/ parents/ governors from school, drive out to one of the centres, and have you back  before the end of the school day.

See for yourself the modern facilities in a stunning setting, and appreciate the wealth of exciting learning opportunites on offer. Talk to centre staff about how a programme of learning can be constructed around the specific needs of your pupils. See pupils from other schools enriching their learning and having the time of their life.

The visits can be arranged for the summer or autumn term. If numbers require, we will restrict the numbers of places for individual schools to enable us to take combinations of schools on each visit.

To take advantage of this offer, simply contact Jim Hughes jim.hughes@bradford.gov.uk

indicating maximum number of places required, and days/ weeks when you would not wish to travel. Please state "Funded pre-visit" as the subject when replying.
