The aim of the Rhyme Challenge is to encourage parents to share rhymes with their children, building on the well established link between rhyming, talking and reading.
What the RC involves:
Holding at least one rhymetime session with parents and underfives to learn the rhymes (there are five rhymes to learn)
Giving all participating families a certificate
Asking parents to complete a short feedback sheet; please post these to me or drop them off at your nearest library.
We will send you a pack with everything you need for your sessions, including rhyme sheets, certificates, feedback sheets and posters. One pack is enough for 30 families.
If you would like a pack, or want to know more, please get in touch with me by email or on 01274 433651.
