IOSH Managing Safely training for Managers- School employees only!

 

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, in association with training provider eduk, is pleased to offer a limited number of places on an IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) Managing Safely training course. This 4 day health and safety training course is designed for people in an organisation who have to manage risk. This course is aimed at school employees, who have management / senior supervisory responsibilities. It will provide you with the competencies to meet your health and safety responsibilities.

  • How to identify, assess and use control measures to reduce risk
  • Your responsibilities within the law
  • The key elements of a Health & Safety Management System
  • How to recognise and deal with hazards
  • How to investigate accidents and incidents
  • How to measure and audit your Health & Safety performance
  • The main elements of an Environmental Management system

 

On successful completion of the written and practical assessments a certificate will be awarded by IOSH.

Course dates

The course is delivered over 4 days and will run 09.00am to 4.30pm each day; there are three groups to choose from and the dates scheduled are below:

 

Participants MUST attend on all four days in order to pass the assessment.

 

Group 1:  19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, January 2015 at Kalasangam, St Peter’s House, Forster Square, Bradford, BD1 4TY

Or

Group 2:   2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th February 2015 at Kalasangam, St Peter’s House, Forster Square, Bradford, BD1 4TY

Or

Group 3:   23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th February 2015 at Kalasangam, St Peter’s House, Forster Square, Bradford, BD1 4TY

 

Costs £356 per person (Refreshments and light-lunch provided)
