Buildings get older and eventually need replacing. A number of Bradford’s existing leisure centres are coming to the end of their life-span and are considered no longer fit-for-purpose. Due to rising running and maintenance
costs, some of the District’s leisure centres now represent a financial burden to the Council.
In order to meet this challenge the Council proposes to provide four new exciting modern leisure centres that will encourage even more people to take up physical activity.
