Bradford Manufacturing Weeks wants you and your students!
Britain is the 8th largest manufacturing country in the world. Did you fly during the summer? If so, the aircraft you flew on will most likely have had wing components made by Produmax in Shipley. If you or your loved ones have a visited a hospital
recently, there's a good chance that Mansfield Pollard in Bowling (BD4) will have been involved in monitoring and delivering the air quality within the hospital. TF Automation (BD2) supply components that will be in the car you drive and if you've recently collected
or had a package delivered then Solenis in Low Moor will have supplied chemicals to manufacture that package.
Bradford Manufacturing Weeks (BMW) enables your students to explore and understand the modern world of manufacturing through site tours of global-leading, Bradford-based companies. For a full list of the site tours, panel events and other workshop activities
available, visit the
BMW Events page and/or open the attached documents.
