5 June 2014, is the final time the current Children and Young People’s Workforce Level 3 qualification will be run at Shipley College. This course is the recognised qualification for people working in the Childcare sector with children and young people
aged 0-19 years, and has no requirement for having GCSE Maths and English grade A-C, in order to enrol. To take advantage of these two key benefits, contact us now:
Jackie Wilson – email@example.com or telephone 01274 327283. You can also come along to our Open Day on Tuesday 20th May 4.30-7pm.
For information: Changes to qualifications in childcare from August 2014 mean that the qualifications are splitting by age group. Those working with 0-5 year olds will need to do the new qualification Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator)
and your employees will need GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English to enrol on this.
From September 2014, Shipley College will be running apprenticeships in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and Early Years Educators, as well as courses for the mature learner, along with Paediatric First Aid. Please see our full part-time
prospectus, Ambitions when it is published in June, or look on our website for further course information.
