CPD and support in the Early Years for Keighley Schools and PVIs

Bradford Birth to 19 has been commissioned by the Bradford Opportunity Area to provide CPD and support in the Early Years for Keighley Schools and PVIs. Strong Close Nursery School will be leading on this training in Keighley.

This free training will cover the two themes as below with two options for session dates on each.

Theme 1 - The New EYFS Framework 

Development matters and birth to 5 matters, supporting language, schema, ACEs and interests, moderation and reducing staff workload. Tour of our 2–5-year-old mainstream and specialist provision. Reflection, question and feedback time and follow up support if required. Sharing of PowerPoint s and our SALT, Schema and Key Person EYFS toolkits to disseminate at your settings.

9.00-11.30am Tuesday 1st February or 1.00-3.30pm Monday 7th February-12 spaces per session

Theme 2 - Specialist Provision in the Early Years

Intensive interaction, attachment and trauma, self-regulation and executive function. Spring 1 dates TBC Tour of our 2–5-year-old mainstream and specialist provision including sensory room. Reflection, question and feedback time and follow up support if required. Sharing of all PowerPoint training and Developmental Journal Overviews to disseminate at your settings.


9.00-11.30am Tuesday 15th March or 1.00-3.30pm Monday 21st March-12 spaces per session.

Priority schools will be those in Keighley, but others will be welcome. To book a place for Theme 1 and/or Theme 2 please email office@strongclose.co.uk.
