Please see the flyer below for information for our FREE Sustainability Summer School for Year 10 students. Each of the 4 days can accommodate up to 15 students, and travel can be arranged via a minibus service to any of the sites from Trinity Green @ Bradford College.

Further information will be provided upon registration.

the Sustainability Summer School has been revised to a shorter timetable this year, due to restrictions, and will now be hosted over 4 separate sites, from 12pm-4pm:

 

6th July – Bradford College

7th July  - Esholt Hall – can be accessed via Bradford College minibus if students arrive at Trinity Green before 12pm, or access via Apperley Bridge Train Station, where students will be chaperoned to the site at 12.30.

13th July – Bradford Grammar - can also be accessed via Bradford College minibus if students arrive at Trinity Green before 12pm

14th July – Keighley Woodville Activity Centre - can also be accessed via Bradford College minibus if students arrive at Trinity Green before 12pm

 

the plan for each day is as follows:

 

12-1 – Travelling to site / Arrivals

1-2 – Team-building activities (led by Bradford College)

2-3 – Rocket Building and Launch (led by Future Transformation)

3-3.30 – Sustainability Careers Talk Q&A (the University of Bradford)

3.30 – Close

 

Please note:

 

  • each of the 4 days has the same objectives / outcomes, so book individual students for one day only
  • all events have full site risk assessments
  • all trainers are CRB compliant
  • there will be photo opportunities for marketing purposes – please ensure >the at all students who attend are cleared to have their photo taken for GDPR purposes. Likewise, if teachers / support staff wish to attend, please bring your CRB certificate, school passes / identification and feel free to take part!

 

HOW TO REGISTER STUDENTS

 

Please email your contact details, school, student names and UPN numbers to Dale.Hunter@bradford.gov.uk. I will aim to respond by Wednesday 30th June to confirm if your student(s) have been invited to attend.
