We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
Dear SENCOs, In response to our recent consultation with schools, and also the Covid 19 situation, we would like to outline how we plan to work with you from September.
Please see our “About the SCIL Team” page on BSO for further information on how we will be working with schools and settings from September 2020 and which parts of our service are subsidised and which are traded. https://bso.bradford.gov.uk/content/scil-team We have made some changes to which services are traded, and we will no longer be selling “packages” of support for you to purchase; instead our traded services will be available to purchase on a “Pay as You Go” format. We will be updating our page on Skills4Bradford over the summer to enable this. We hope this will offer a more flexible service which is responsive to your needs. One of our Team Leads will make a time to meet with you in September to consider your priorities around SEND as a school and to discuss any open cases and referrals. Due to the Covid pandemic, previously purchased packages will be carried forward as already outlined by our admin team and can be used to purchase any of our traded support during 2020-21. PVI settings can continue to refer to our service using the SCIL referral form. If you require urgent support or have any further enquiries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch using one of the contact emails provided on our main page. From the start of term our teams will be available for telephone / video advice and consultation and Team Leads will be able to advise you on next steps, if required, prior to the scheduled meeting date.
