Dear colleagues,
I know that all our staff and those at our childcare providers, schools and our partner organisations are working tremendously hard to support our children, residents and communities in these unprecedented and challenging times, and I want to extend my sincere
thanks for that.
It’s really important that while we are doing this vital work, we do not lose sight of those who may be at risk or who are vulnerable in our district.
Social distancing, the anxiety of health concerns and the economic pressure some families may experience mean that there may be increased stress for many at this time.
If you know families who may be struggling, or where someone may be at risk, please can I ask that you take time to check up on them. If you think there is a concern about a child or young person or vulnerable adult, please refer it in the usual way through
our contact points which are all still open.
Visit
www.saferbradford.co.uk and click on ‘report a concern’.
Or call:
- For children 01274 435600 (01274 431010 out of office hours)
- For adults 01274 431077 (01274 431010 out of office hours)
- If someone is at immediate risk of harm call 999
Don’t think, “What if I’m wrong?”. Think, “What if I’m right!”
Thank you,
Kersten
