Outline
Comprehensive autism training and insight for school staff who already have a basic knowledge and experience of autism.

 
Description
Participants will develop their existing knowledge of autism and the course will promote awareness of the key areas of difference in regards to a child or children in their setting. You will explore a range of resources and strategies and create an action plan to implement back in your setting.

Full-day course delivered by one Specialist teacher.

Refreshments: Lunch is provided with drinks plus drinks on arrival and mid-morning.

School based staff in direct contact with CYP with a diagnosis of autism to include SENCO’s, teachers, Senior Leaders, Head Teachers, Phase Leaders, Learning Mentors KS1-4
