"The best bit of this course was the live lesson as it showed how easily children can lead the learning"

This course will consider the benefits of using journaling to record mathematical ideas and show understanding – an approach used in Singapore. Teachers will have the opportunity to look at examples of pupils’ learning journals from a range of year groups, understand how this approach complements the teaching for mastery approach and see how the course leader uses journaling with a group of pupils from Parkland Primary School.

It will be lead by Mark Hattersley, NCETM PD Lead, STEM consultant and Assistant Headteacher at a Bradford Primary School
