The glittering trophy that will be contested at this year’s Tour de Yorkshire is on its way to Bradford.
The highly sought-after prize will be in town on Tuesday, 4 April, ahead of the start of Stage 3 of the race from City Park to Fox Valley, Sheffield on Sunday, 30 April.
All are invited to pop along and welcome the trophy to Bradford at City Hall from 9am.
The trophy, designed and made by hand at world leading trophy makers Thomas Fattorini Ltd.
This is a chance to see the magnificent trophy close at hand, which will eventually be awarded to the winner after this grueling three day event. This year’s Tour de Yorkshire will be another great and exciting sporting event, helping to put our region
firmly on the national and international map. Bradford and Otley have a proud history of producing excellent cycling talent and I’m sure the community will have a fantastic time when the tour comes to town.
