The 2016 Primary Performance Tables Checking Exercise is now open

The Primary Performance Tables Checking Exercise is open from 9.30am Thursday 1 September 2016 until 5.00pm Friday 16 September 2016.

The DfE website can be accessed here.

Schools are requested to:

-       Check and amend, where necessary the list of pupils and their results

-       Check that pupil characteristics are correct, in particular where the child was eligible for FSM, was looked after or adopted from care

-       Add missing pupils, request to remove pupils who left the school before the tests or pupils who meet the criteria for discounting

Please note that DfE has made amendments to the guidance relating to discounting pupils from KS2 in 2016

The DfE has amended its instructions for the KS2 Performance Tables to say that, if a child has arrived in a school any time from 11 April 2016, they should automatically accept that request (see Section 2, page 5 of the guidance).

Requests of this nature should be submitted for ‘other’ reasons and would normally relate to those pupils who started in Year 6 from another UK school.  Pupils for whom you would apply for discounting under the two year, recently arrived from abroad ‘rule’ should be submitted as in previous years, with relevant supporting evidence.
