Lindsay, a final year student studying Education Studies at Bradford College, is carrying out research into the affect of early intervention on children with Down syndrome. She has compiled a 5 minute questionnaire to help gather feedback.

Dear Practitioner,

My name is Lindsay and I am currently in the final year of my degree course in Education Studies. I completed a work placement at the Down syndrome Training and Support Service last year, which I thoroughly enjoyed. For my dissertation I am carrying out research into the affect that early intervention groups have on children with Down syndrome in comparison with those children who didn’t attend the groups. Wendy Uttley and the team at the Down syndrome Training and Support Service have kindly given me permission to carry out my research at the centre.
I have compiled a questionnaire that I really hope you will take five minutes to complete- simply by clicking on the link below. My aim is to find out if the impact of these early intervention groups is significant, and whether these groups should therefore be funded by the Government rather than relying on charities to provide this provision.

Yours Sincerely,

Lindsay Clarke-Benson
