We have now gathered together the thoughts, opinions and inputs from young people that were captured at the district wide Youth Voice Event in February and we are now looking to host a follow up event during which we will be looking to use the summaries
and turn them into actions.
If you have young people who participated in this event, or other young people who want to be active in driving forward change there is an opportunity to come together on
Thursday 7 April from 2pm to 4pm at Margaret McMillan Tower (the old Central library) in Bradford City Centre and start to help us progress this.
We will be looking for young people who are happy to come along and start to shape the actions; helping identify who and how we drive forward the suggestions from the events we have run so far. We will also be looking for young people who may be prepared
to advocate and speak on behalf of a wider group of young people.
We will also be exploring what support is needed to enable young people’s voice to be heard and will explore with young people the opportunities to meet with the chairs of Boards, Trusts and Partnerships in the District who have responsibilities around Services
for Children and Young People.
Young people should confirm thier attendance to Heather Wilson (Commissioner – Youth Provisions)
