An introduction to 'Developing Language in my Classroom' Date: 22 March 2016, 09:00 - 12:00, Green Lane Primary School Please note: This session is a change of date to the one originally advertised (from 3 March to 22 March 2016)

This session is free and will provide an introduction to the new 'Developing Language in my Classroom' course, created by Clare Reed and Catherine Pass, in conjunction with the Communications Trust.  The morning would be ideal for senior managers, who will be provided with a brief preview of the training including time to explore 'Developing a Communication Supporting Classrooms Observation Tool' from the DfE.

The full course 'Developing Language in my Classroom' has recently been piloted in three local schools and is now ready to be rolled out across Bradford.  It consists of four half day sessions with gap tasks, aiming to equip staff with the skills and knowledge to develop language in every classroom and across the primary curriculum.  It will also support classroom teachers with identification of children with delayed language.

Details of the full course will be available soon.

To book a place on this free course, please email Carol requesting a place.  A confirmation letter will not be sent.
